Nyctophobia
Genre: Book Publications

Description:
Nyctophobia is a book that challenges the notion of reading and explores the existence of two systems within a publication – the normal reading system for visually-abled and Braille, a reading system for the visually handicapped.

The book, featuring a poem by Bill Watterson, aims to allow visually-abled readers to learn Braille by introducing blanks in between stanzas within the poem, which serves as a coded message for readers to decode. Black ink is intentionally used to print on the black pages to visually capture the fears lurking in the dark, as experienced by the protagonist in the poem.

Nyctophobia was awarded 'Finalist' under Publication category in Crowbar 2010.
